Description:

Exploring the trees and plants native to the region, the Chesapeake Arboretum consists of 47 acres of natural hardwood forest. Visitors can stroll along the paths that wind through the trees and see the many flowering and fragrant plants that have been planted in themed gardens at the arboretum's central building. The arboretum is located a few miles north of the city center, near Chesapeake City Park.
